Ocean Expeditions is led by Captain Ben Wallis aboard the Australis, a 75′ steel-hulled motor sailor purpose-built for high-latitude expedition sailing.

Our team is passionate and highly skilled with experts from diverse backgrounds including marine biology, oceanography and architecture! They are adept at guiding a range of activities such as Zodiac cruising, kayaking, sailing, and filming.

If you are interested, it is advantageous if you already meet the following requirements:

• Specialized knowledge or a degree in a relevant field related to the polar regions.
• Offshore qualifications such as RYA/MCA Ocean Yachtmaster.
• Experience driving small boats, such as Zodiacs in polar regions.
