Wow! We have just celebrated our 100th trip in the month of December 2014 and what a great way to finish the year! It’s hard to believe we have reached such a milestone, doing what we love in such remarkable parts of the world. Looking back at all the trips onboard our various vessels, we’ve created some amazing memories, gained an immense amount of knowledge and met people that you only read about in books. We are also very thankful to have made many friends for life along the way.
There has been too many adventures to recount and a few close calls, which comes with the territories we explore, but plenty of stories have come from these experiences that have impacted many lives along the way. Our 100 trips have covered both polar regions and many incredible destinations in between, with more nautical miles than we can count.
What better way to celebrate our 100th trip, than with a rich chocolate cake, disguised as an iceberg covered in coconut shaving snow flakes and of course some champagne to wash it all down with! It’s been quite an extraordinary journey and such a great achievement, shared by so many amazing people. We would like to thank all of those folk who have worked with us over the 100 trips and guests that have shared the wonders of the polar regions with Ocean Expeditions. We look forward to the next 100!!!
